How large, and in what medium, is the original artwork?
The original artwork from the Guide to Birds is done with gouache (opaque watercolor) on Bristol Board. Each page from the book was painted on a single sheet of paper approximately 14 by 22 inches, more or less three times as large as the reproductions in the Guide.
